Here's a snapshot of what we like to do in Atlanta!

Decatur, GA (www.decatur-ga.com) - This is the community where we live and we thoroughly enjoy all the wonderful activities Decatur offers!

Stone Mountain Park (www.stonemountainpark.org) - this is a very large park near our home where we have an annual membership.  We enjoy hiking the mountain, riding the train, sky lift & Ducks, participating in seasonal activities (like the Indian Festival, Pumpkin Festival & a Stone Mountain Christmas experience to name a few), playing Putt-Putt Golf, picnics, etc.

Monkey Joe's (www.monkeyjoes.com) - This is the perfect place to spend a rainy day!

Fernbank Museum of Natural History (www.fernbankmuseum.org) - This museum is also near our house and we also have an annual membership here.  We love to visit the exhibits here as well as experience the IMAX movies they offer.  This is a great way to spend the day...rain or shine!

Zoo Atlanta (www.zooatlanta.org) - We are members of the zoo here in Atlanta and spending the day visiting the animal habitats and the new loaded playground are a blast!

Children's Museum of Atlanta (www.imagineit-cma.org) - There are always fun things to see and experience here!

Aquarium (www.georgiaaquarium.org) - We have thoroughly enjoyed our membership at the aquarium.  It is huge and the exhibits are fantastic!  Not to mention the 4-D movie there...FUN!

Six Flags over GA/Six Flags White Water/American Adventure (http://www.sixflags.com) - Lots of fun amusement parks close to us!   A season's pass is the way to go because there is just too much to do in one day!

Centennial Park (www.centennialpark.com/) - This downtown park is really close to us and a super fun place to go.  Nearby are the Aquarium, Children's Museum, World of Coke, Phillips Arena, and the Georgia Dome.

Piedmont Park (www.piedmontpark.org) - This massive in-town park is a wonderful place to spend the day walking, playing, having a picnic and feeding the ducks!

Center for Puppetry Arts (www.puppet.org)- Who doesn't love a puppet show?

Fox Theater Atlanta (www.foxtheatre.org) - There is nothing like seeing a show or a movie at the Fox!

Eddies Attic (www.eddiesattic.com) - This is a GREAT local music "listening room" in Decatur and the best part is that they have lots of "all ages" shows...KIDS ARE WELCOME!

The Varsity (www.thevarsity.com) - OK, this is an Atlanta food institution and has the BEST chili dogs & chili burgers.  And I can't even tell you how good the fries are!!
